vs. Ohio (1/9)
On Tuesday, January 9, BG (10-4, 1-1 MAC) hosts Ohio (7-7, 1-1 MAC) back at the Stroh Center. Game is scheduled to begin at 7:00pm, and will be available to stream on ESPN+.
They’re ranked 47 spots ahead of us in the Kenpom (168 vs. 215), so this will definitely be a challenge. Would be huge to get back above .500 in MAC play with a win against a team picked higher than us in the preseason MAC poll, but it’s gonna be tough. Hoping to see that the guys have learned a little bit from the rough finish at Akron on Friday.
Go Falcons! Beat Ohio.

Wish I could be at this one, but the structure of our family schedule for this week makes this a no-go. However, I'm looking forward to watching on TV!

Have a 5-6PM scrimmage timeslot at Maumee Indoor Soccer. Dinner will be whatever can be eaten on the drive to BG.

Re: vs. Ohio (1/9)
Haha...when it goes back to full price I suspect there will be no lines. But anything more than $1 is overcharging for the crap they serve. $7-8 for a tub of popcorn/$5 for a hotdog or unsafe temp piece of pizza? Hell to the naw.
As bad as the experience was for the $1 night, it really hit me how easily (at least with our typical crowds) it would be to run that Northwest stand that never gets opened. I'm sure they have contracts with their current vendor or whatever, but if I had the time (AKA no kid to shuttle from activity to activity, no full time day job), I'd love to takeover that corner stand and do my own thing. Anybody with a catering kitchen could/experience could easily put together a worthwhile menu for a reasonable price and sell out of that stand.
I'm sure whoever we're using for concessions these days wouldn't like that since nobody would eat their s**t hotdogs anymore, but the Dept shoudl look into finding a partner for that. The current situation is garbage. One of the few places where we could use our low attendance as an asset.

Pumped for this one, hope we can get another guy in the lineup. 7 guys is not enough for basketball, 8-9 is the perfect number for a rotation at this level. I remember in HS we had injuries racking up deep into January, just were completely gassed running with a 7 man lineup and it cost us games.
Agee getting two early fouls screwed us for the second, we lost our legs and it cost us shooting. He was fresh, no one else was

Good effort to start tonight. BG up 17-13. Looks like a good student crowd in attendance.

Re: vs. Ohio (1/9)
Greer did get some run but it was at the 3 where he naturally fits. Nice stroke on that 3. He's still a bit lost defensively. A couple of times he wasnt sure where to go but didn't hurt us any.
Agee was simply phenomenal. Couldn't finish as well as he often does but 5a and 9r in a half from our big guy...will take that all day

Team is playing a great game. Agee has 9 points, 6 assists, and 12 rebounds already. Lot of fun to watch so far

BG leads 62-49 with exactly 12 minutes left to play. Lot of active hands tonight on defense - great to see. Gotta finish.
