BG is long overdue for a win in Oxford. I believe we’ve lost the last 5 down there and have dropped 7 of the last 10 to Miami. It would be nice to see BG finally leave Oxford with a win.

Win or lose Bowling Green will be going into Oxford with a good college basketball coach for the 2nd time in nearly 20 years. It will mark the 1st time in nearly 20 years it does so with a good coach and a competent AD at the same time. A win would be huge for seeding come tournament time.

By any means necessary, come back with a win.
BG is 12-4 (3-1), Miami is 8-8 (2-2). Important MAC game. 7:00pm on ESPN+.
BG is -1.5 on the road, for the degenerates out there.

This should be a pretty good match up for us in the paint. The three bigs getting their most minutes are 6'8", 6'8", 6'9" and one of them weighs 300 lbs. Our big's mobility should give us some good looks and pressure on the rim. Without having a big shot blocker at the rim Hill and Thomas should be able to get into the paint effectively.
Travis Steele is a good coach and they will be at home but I don't see how we don't win this one convincingly.

Huge one tonight. I don't think we've played well in Oxford since before Charlie Coles was the coach, regardless of how good either team was.
Even bigger, a win would create an opportunity for the first "big" game for this new program, as that would put us at 4-1, against WMU who will be either 4-1 or 5-0 (14 point dogs vs Akron tonight), on a Saturday afternoon with no football game on TV to compete against. Possibility for a ROCKIN Stroh on Saturday, but gotta get this one tonight first!

It's really surprising that WMU is 4-0. Good for them.
I'm not going to be able to watch the fist half at all, and maybe not the second. Somebody let me know if Agee works as a passer out of the high post again. That's gotta be my favorite new wrinkle on offense I've seen for us in a VERY long time.

BG leads 19-13 early in this one. Pretty good effort so far.

One of those annoying games where we go ahead by 8 and then we give it back up.
I think we’re pretty clearly the better team, but we’re letting them hang around. Gotta figure out a way to put them away.

Rough to go into halftime with a deficit. Simon will not be happy. We were up 31-21 before struggling the final 8:00 or so

Down 1 at the half. Shooting 5 of 18 on twos and 8 of 15 on free throws. Not finishing well at all around the rim and only reason we led early was we started hot from three. Going to need to play better if we're going to win

A few phantom calls against us leading to Agee and spurgin having 3 fouls with 16 minutes to go

A really poor 13:00 or so of basketball. Down 7, can't make a shot to save our lives other than Hill. He's gonna need 30 for us to win.
BIgs can't do anything but foul this half.

Down 59-54...12 min to go. Their big man is kinda having his way.

Our bigs are trying to avoid a fourth.
Going to need an ugly win

We went about 20 minutes without a three before Thomas hit one. Down 6 with 8 minutes to go and shooting 2 free throws. Just hanging around this one
