Jazz Activate Collins; Place McLeod On The Injured List

Jazz point guard Keith McLeod has been placed on the injured list with a strained hamstring.

McLeod, who has started 21 of the 24 games he has played this season, must sit out at least five games. The move, plus last week's trade of Carlos Arroyo leaves Utah with Raul Lopez and Howard Eisley as the only point guards.

Collins had been on the IL since Dec. 12 with a sprained knee.

Hey, at least its only a strained hammy and not a tear. He'll be back soon enough! That team is going to miss his presence.

remember when carlos arroyo got hurt and McLeod played well and took his job? don't look now but raul lopez has 8 assists at halftime and the Jazz are playing with the Sonics in spite of AD's 15 points at the break. Please please please give Keith his job back when he's healthy....

I saw that, but they ended up losing to a Keith McLeod-less Utah Jazz team.
