Had BG been able to hang on to Hill and Agee, the Falcons would have been the clear favorite.
Here's the prediction by Blue Ribbon:
1. Ohio
2. Akron
3. Toledo
4. Kent State
5. Bowling Green
6. Ball State
7. Central Michigan
8. Miami
9. Northern Illinois
10. Western Michigan
11. Eastern Michigan
12. Buffalo
BG picked 5th in the MAC by Blue Ribbon
Re: BG picked 5th in the MAC by Blue Ribbon
Looks about like you would expect it to look given all the transfers. BG will be better than last year and significantly better. Depth, depth, and more depth. The All MAC team and Player of the Year seem lazy at best.

In this era of constant transfer, who on earth can plausibly predict the conference?

Well if you pick Akron, Ohio, Toledo and Kent in the top 4 every year you will do pretty good. Central Michigan was the outlier last year so you move them up from where you picked them last year. Picking the All Conference team and player of the year is the bigger joke. Just pick the only first team All MAC guy who didn’t transfer as player of the year, and all the known returnees plus Sparks transferring back to the MAC as first team. Blue Ribbon didn’t know Marcus Hill’s name at this time last year.
