WMU got destroyed by Miami- 85-60, and Ohio beat TU 76-67. We are now tied with WMU for the West, and Toledo is pretty much out of it.

We got what we needed tonight, but we've got a very tough game at Ohio. The Bobcats are undefeated at home and playing very well in Athens. Ask Kent State! Toledo may be a bit back, but they aren't out of anything. I'd rather be where we are over them in the standings, but it's still almost anyone's chance. Besides, the only team "out" of anything is the one that loses in the MAC Tournament. 0-7 Marshall has just as much a shot as 6-2 BG. It's win or go home in the MAC.

Hey, one of the Jesus (pronounced "HAY-seus") Twins actually got in at Miami in last night's rout!! Good for him! Tim was 0-1 from the floor, and ripped down 2 boards in 7 minutes of action!!

I purchased 36 tickets yesterday for the Miami game so that my in-laws and others from Ottawa could come see the Pollitz boys sit on the bench.

And some day Scott Vandermeer is going to see 7 minutes of playing time in a MAC game too. I believe!

Good news there! WMU had an off night...just like BG had at Ball State.

Goodbye Stan!

BG has very little margin for error the rest of the way. Currently, WMU holds the tiebreaker with the Falcons, and BG still has to play in Kalamazoo. Ball State is right on our tail as well, and also has already beaten the Falcons. At least the Cards have to come to BG later.

The "Jesus Twins"? Where did that come from? Anyway, Tim has played in a handfull of games this year. He's gotten a couple of buckets and shows signs that he can be a force inside. Eric has been out all year with an injury.

You'd have had to have been here during the recruiting process. Some members of this site thought the twins were the "second coming." It's nothing personal against the Pollitz boys... more a subtle jab at the BG fans who were on their bandwagon.

I don't think any of us deny the potential is there in those boys (or at least one of them). I hope the have great careers at Miami and I think Charlie is the coach that can bring them along!

Them Jesus boys sure did generate a lot of discussion. I could swear I saw their faces on the side of grain silo down near Van Wert.... Maybe it was Elvis.
