Coach Simon mentioned on Twitter that this Davidson team is the highest Kenpom-rated opponent to visit the Stroh since 2017. Gonna be a huge challenge, but I’m excited to see us take it on.

That speaks volumes to the horrible scheduling of Huger despite money donated for that exact thing. It did net us two unnecessary extensions and the Isaac Elsasser era. For the record Davidson is like 126. That’s not even that good.

I'm assuming that quote was only about OOC games?

Like guest said, Huger never even thought about scheduling a quality OOC opponent. The Sunbelt challenge gave us a stern first tough in SMU. Now we're bringing in Davidson. We have MSU next weekend.

That's a good, tough schedule. I hope we can win this home game as a springboard to this season. I always prefer tougher scheduling to get ready for MAC play. It's stupid to beat Findlay, Notre Dame, and Lourdes.

Of course we'll be there tomorrow night. Pretty excited about it actually. I wasn't real enthused by the SMU game, but I still miss hearing the sneakers squeak. I miss seeing some of the folks that sit around me. I miss just watching live basketball.

How on earth could a kenpom rating have any statistical validity at this early point in the season? Let's have a few more statistical observations first.

Agee got 10 minutes for USC last night. Since we have no rules anymore, can he transfer back to BGSU and play tonight?

As close to zero as possible here, but maybe USC already paid him.

It's close to tipoff and the entire northern half of the Stroh is vacant.

Davidson is working BG over so far. This is ugly!
