At EMU 2/25
At EMU 2/25
Gotta have this one tonight. Akron, OU and Buffalo can give us some help as well.
LONG LIVE THE MONGOOSE!!
Re: At EMU 2/25
Allowed 19 points and 11 offensive rebounds in the first half. We have tu rebound better in the zone but outside of that a good first half and a 16 point lead
Re: At EMU 2/25
EMU on a 20-2 run and it’s tied.
We have 2 points in about 10 minutes of game time.

With the way the first half went I figured we'd struggle to keep at it. They got back but we've managed to stay out in front a bit at least.
Our ball up 6 with 1:34 to go..have to close this one out

Re: At EMU 2/25
Campbell is doing this with a broken shooting hand. I think we found out who should have been the lead guard all along.
Re: At EMU 2/25
Another win and that's all matters right now. Little bit surprised we went Green over Humphrey at the end
Re: At EMU 2/25
Always good to get road Mac wins. Those one pretty much wire to wire.
The offense is just so much better with Campbell controlling the.ball. I wish it could come with Thomas off ball as a scorer but oh well.
Quality win

Re: At EMU 2/25
Without a doubt. He's a real guard because he attacks and gets his points while also involving his teammates.
He was likely never going to be a shooter anyhow but to do this when everybody knows you're not taking many jumpers is very impressive.
Re: At EMU 2/25
Humphrey is shooting it well too, won a road game with Johnson scoring 2 points. Heck of an effort.
Re: At EMU 2/25
Yep Campbell should have been running the show which is nothing against Thomas as we could use him as an off guard. Sucks to find out this late and due to injury. Offense has been moving a bit more with that stagger screen up top.
Mac scoreboard once again not helping us besides enjoying Toledo getting spanked

Akron's win helps us out. Three games left, all potentially winnable. We're a game behind both Ball State and CMU, and we play them both at home.
And a 40-point Toledo loss? I'll take it!

Play Western at home not Central. Need Central to lose as they own the tiebreaker over BG. Beating Western again would give us the tiebreaker with them. Not sure how the Eastern tiebreaker works splitting with them, would be looking for the same thing by beating Ball State this weekendthreestooges wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2025 9:16 pm Akron's win helps us out. Re: At EMU 2/25
If we win out, we'll be 9-9 in conference. It would be crazy to miss out at .500 in conference play when they take 8/12 for the tourney. Now, looking at future schedules for the teams we are competing against for the last few spots, Western has to play Kent still, Ball State plays Miami, and Eastern has to play both Ohio and Kent. Moreover, Central is playing both Ball State and Eastern. If we win out, then we will have given both Ball State and Western their 9th loss. Then, when Ball State and Central play, one of them is picking up loss #10. We just need one other team above us to pick up a 10th loss. Does Western lose to Kent? Who wins the Central/Eastern game?BGFalconfromCincy wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2025 10:38 amPlay Western at home not Central. Need Central to lose as they own the tiebreaker over BG. Best case scenario, we win out and finish at 9-9. There should be enough results between the other games to move at least two teams currently at 7-8 or 6-9 to 8-10 or worse.
