BG vs. WMU on Friday night at 7:00pm from the Stroh. Winner gets the 7 seed in the MAC tournament, while the loser could be out entirely. Massive stakes.
General admission tickets are just $5 from now until Friday at noon, so if you’re in the fence about going, hopefully this deal will push you over the edge and you’ll be there.
Go Falcons! Beat WMU!

I'd much rather be the 7-seed than the 8-seed. Huge game for many reasons. I'll be watching and cheering on from afar.

Battling through some horrible officiating but only down by one. It’s really nice to see a team that fights hard.

BG trails 33-32 at halftime. Turning the ball over way too much and it’s letting WMU hang in it.

We are outshooting them but getting killed in the officiating game. They are physically beating the hell out of us on defense and loose balls but we can’t hardly touch them without a whistle. At least that’s how it seems. Maybe that will even out in the second half.

I've some complaints about the refs but we have to improve the turnovers and offensive rebounds allowed. Western has an extra 11 possessions thanks to those two

We came back and competed.
Really bad whistle with 3 seconds to go on what should’ve been a turnover and instead gave WMU 2 shots. BG can’t get one to go and now we’re waiting on the result of the CMU game.

It’s fitting that the game was decided by officiating. We just didn’t have enough bodies to make a March run but pretty proud of how hard this short handed team fought til the end. Now to see who we keep and who transfers in. Hopefully we find a way to stay healthy in the future.

That’s MAC basketball
