Not entirely sure. In December 2024, the NCAA Division I Board of Directors granted a waiver, allowing student-athletes who previously competed at a non-NCAA school (including junior colleges) and would have exhausted their eligibility after the 2024-25 season to receive an extra year of eligibility for the 2025-26 season.BGFalconfromCincy wrote: ↑Thu Mar 13, 2025 1:26 pm Just want to confirm, the following players are gone as they are out of eligibility:
Thomas
Humphrey
Johnson
Butler
Towns
Todd won't cut ties with any of the current assistants. They've been with him since SUU. It is possible that German or Nairn get another job where we would then need to replace them.
Forgot about the Diego Pavia rule. Unless something is missing on his BGSU profile Johnson should be done as the only other school he played at is D2 Wheeling. Humphrey should have a year based on playing 2 at BG and 1 at Holy Cross, Butler should have two years left based on one year at BG and one at CMUfredthefalcon wrote: ↑Thu Mar 13, 2025 2:24 pmNot entirely sure. So could apply to Johnson, Humphrey and Butler based on their past playing days.
Please for the love of god don't make me watch Marcus Johnson play another season.BGFalconfromCincy wrote: ↑Thu Mar 13, 2025 4:30 pmForgot about the Diego Pavia rule. Only guys I really want back are Felt, Campbell, and YoYo. The rest, meh, nobody we have to be rid of necessarily, but nobody I'll cry about losing. I still have faith in Simon, but he's got to realize the atitude that made Agee & Hill great is what we need as much or more than their skill. MOst of the guys we trotted out this year couldn't care less about any of the work it takes to win.
