@ Arkansas State (2/7)

Post by mbenecke »

Following the blowout win over Ball State, our Falcons (14-9) next head south to take on the Arkansas State Red Wolves (13-10). This non-conference contest is part of the MAC-Sun Belt challenge. The game will be Saturday, February 7th at 3:00pm, and will stream on ESPN+.

They've lost 5 of their last 6 (with another game tonight against Coastal Carolina) so they haven't played their best basketball. It's important that we come out early and set the tone to not allow them to get comfortable and have a get-right game against us.

Go Falcons!

The offensive effort at this point is pathetic.

Worst half of BG basketball I've ever seen in my life.

I'm not sure it's the worst half they've played this season...

I'd like to thank BG for making my son's team's 40-5 beat down no longer the worst effort of basketball I've seen today.

4 shot clock violations and a 5 second violation, 11 turnovers, shooting 17%, and still losing the offensive rebound battle

This team has no plan offensively.

And they still s**t the bed for entire halves. This is like the 3rd or 4th game this year that is over at halftime.

Yay finally got approved to post... I'm ready to sell the rest of my season tickets, but they aren't worth anything!

Yeah I'm disappointed in the offensive system compared to what I thought we were getting when we hired Simon

I love watching college basketball. However, purchasing season tickets next year may be off the table. I'm tired of a new team every year and everything else in college sports anymore.

If this group doesn't sack up for the conference tournament then the discussion needs to be had about hitting the reset button. I get the difficulty of roster building in today's environment, but there's nothing Todd is bringing to the table that is special.

Wow, sad to believe that Chris 'grab-ass' Jans was the best coach we've seen in the last 10 years. What is it about BG that keeps us from recruiting and keeping talent?

I stopped watching at half. That was enough to demotivate me from paying any attention for the rest of the season.

Many of us are questioning whether Simon is a good coach. After that performance, the question must he seriously considered.
