Not awesome!!! This hurts the people who wanted to go watch the women's game in the Akron in the afternoon and then travel to the men's game at Kent that night. Now I don't know which to go to...

I still say it's awesome - overall. It might not be ideal for everyone, but when we're on TV, even if it's a regional broadcast, it means thousands more can see BG play instead of only three or four thousand people who are in game attendance. Same with games on national TV, like in football. We go from having a shot for only 28,000 to see a game in person in Bowling Green, Ohio to millions of opportunities across the country. It's why we play football games on Tuesday night, and it's also why BG and KSU agreed to move this game. It might not be ideal for everyone, but it's great exposure for both schools and is a 2-3 hour plug for the university. I also know that those of us who don't live in Ohio and are spread across the country love when BG is on TV. The last decade, TV has also become a factor in helping the recruiting process. Think BG football hasn't gotten more exposure in the last three years because of TV? TV does what hours upon hours of traveling and tons of money have a hard time doing. Down here in the ACC, just about every single ACC football or basketball game is televised and it's a huge revenue source as well. From ESPN, ESPN2, FSN, Raycom Jefferson-Pilot, Sunshine Network – if someone's playing, someone's airing it.

It's sooo beneficial for our basketball program to be on TV. I never thought I'd see the day when BG fans actually COMPLAINED about being ON TV.

I was planning to go to this game, but now I will be unable to go due to work conflicts.

I would never complain about BGSU being on TV, I just don't like it when game time change dramatically. I can handle an hour or two, but when you move the game from 7pm to 2pm that completely changes everyone's plans.

I realize this is very necessary evil for the growth and development of both BG's and the MAC's "brand" on a regional and national level. I just wish planning could be more sensitive to the "die-hard" fans that have been around much longer while still reaching out to new fans.

This actually makes me happy, because I'm going to Columbus for the hockey game on Saturday. Now, I can watch both games! :)

It works out good for me too. I was in, then out, now back in again!

I am sorry for those who got screwed, though. I understand your disappointment, but agree that it is good any time we get some exposure.
Now, we just have to take care of some business between now and then- 1 game at a time...

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the TV exposure! But I equally love both our teams and now have to make up my mind once again. Like Freak said though, tape the men and watch the women. I might do the same just to get both games in my life!!!
