MAC office not too smart

I have had many complaints against the MAC office and some of their decisions, and I am not going to go into them, but what the heck is the MAC thinking scheduling 4 games this Sunday.
There is something else going on this weekend, called a SuperBowl. Yes the games start at 2:00pm but do they honestly think they will have better attendance at 2:00pm on Sunday when the superbowl is a few hours away INSTEAD of scheduling the games on Saturday or Monday.
Sometimes I scratch my head and wonder what they think over there. Poor Northern, they wont even get to see the game because they still will be on a bus. So will Toledo and Marshall (but who cares about them)

If I was a member of one of those road games I'd take a portable TV. Barring that I'd feign sickness and stay home.

The superbowl is overrated. Give me more basketball.
I'm actually only half joking there. I really don't care about the superbowl and would actually rather watch random basketball games. Is that sad?

Yeah but if players have portable tv's while on the bus then the NCAA will start investigating them because they will think they received the portable tv's as gifts

Contrary to popular belief, but the Super Bowl is not a national holiday. I could understand your concern if the football game was at 1:00 PM but it's not until after 6:00 PM.

Yes but if your like me I have friends over around noon. The games start at 2:00pm, time you get out of the arena its already 4:30, and you get home right before kickoff. Cant have any pregame parties. And maybe you want to see Ashlee Simpson perform (I know she is not performing). I just think attendance will suffer this weekend. Guess we will know Sunday or Monday when we read the game recaps.

There are folks, such as myself, that actually don't care about the Super Bowl. Overhyped, overblown and over done. But that's just me!
I'll take MAC hoops!

Wow...a lot of anti-superbowl sentiment here.
Color me in the group that thinks its a national holiday, and I wouldn't miss it for anything. Its a time to gather round the TV, drink beer, eat greasey food, and have fun.
If BG had a home game, I wouldn't be there.

Don't get me wrong, I'll watch the SuperBowl with great interest, but unless my team is in it, I'd take a BG Basketball game any day of the week.

I don't care if my favorite team was playing 11 naked women...I'd still be at the BG basketball home game men's or women's anyday!!!

That's where I draw the line, especially if I can be one of those playing against the naked women....

Are you referring to the Lingerie Bowl?

Lingerie is clothing...so no, I meant naked women.
