Memories, Memories

If at all possible, I would NEVER miss going to a BG-Toledo game in football or basketball.
I should have posted this earlier, but here's a tip about seating at Savage Hall. Go early, and when the ushers are distracted behind the North basket, slip in. This section is reserved for the Toledo Pep Band and Toledo students. What you're supposed to show to be admitted is a UT Student ID. It provides a super seat. One problem, though, is that you have to stay there until the end of the first half. Still, this tactic never failed for me.
One of my favorite memories at Savage Hall was when with seconds left, Joe Faine drove the court and when he reached the lane, threw the famous "phantom" pass (no one saw it coming, hardly anyone saw it happen) to Ron Hammye who put it in the basket for a 1 or 2 point Falcon win. The Toledo crowd, to say the least, was stunned into absolute silence.
Wish I could be there tonight. I'll be listening, though, to Todd and Cowboy. No one ever knows how these games are gonna turn out.
