BG's bench had just 2 points and 2 rebounds vs. Toledo.

I really wish that they would have given Vandemeer some more touches. We had to rely on one player and with all those turnovers, we were bound to lose.

Dakich was switching the line-up so much more than normal it seemed. Everytime it was down at the turds end, he wanted Scott out there to block shots. But the mintue we got the ball back and a timeout was called, Josh was right back in for the offense. The same happened with Moon...he played when we needed steals even though I don't think he had any. Floyd would then take his place to run the offense. Our guys just never got in an offensive rhythm and it showed through the turnovers.

Metz, admittedly I only watched the OU game on TV, but it appeared that DD was doing pretty much the same thing in that game, at least in 2nd half...Vandermeer on D, Almonson on O as many times as possible...hard to argue against that strategy when it worked so well against OU...and Josh is not a particularly strong defensive presence anyway. From the summary I read on BGSUFALCONS.com, when you shoot less than 30% and make 1 of 11 FT's, you're going to have a hard time winning a game. Seems as if almost ALL of BG's losses have come when they A. had an exceptionally high # of Turnovers AND have not shot the ball well, nowhere near the almost 50% they shoot in most games.

I read where we only hit 1 of 11 FT's but the website stats say we went 10 of 12 from the line. Listening to the game, I don't remember missing many charity tosses.

Freak, I was thinking they meant to say 1 of 11 three pointers.
