10 reasons I hate Savage Hall (based on my observations at the recently played BG-Flying Penis Trade School game):

1. The usher told the very young BG fan to put away the thundersticks he brought to the game. What a douche bag.

2. Flying Penis fans can't read their tickets. Douche bags tried to move me from my seat twice.

3. The scoreboard doesn't show the possession arrow. Instead it shows time outs. Nice touch.

4. The pep band players don't obey the uniform rule. Many of the members were in plain shirts, jeans or shorts. Looked like bums.

5. $3.25 for a soda? $3.75 for a popcorn? 4 candy choices? Concessions were overpriced and lacking variety. Go to Sam's Club and buy something to sell.

6. Rocky Rocketmandumbass is dressed like a NASCAR driver. Why?

7. The PA announcer sounds like he smoked three joints before the game. He sounds more like a 1970's AOR disc jockey..."And that's the latest from Fleetwood Mac at K-Penis...You've got the Giant Douche Bag on your FM...and you can join me Saturday at the CVS on Bancroft as I broadcast live...first 50 people who stop by get a free bag of ice...after we pay the bills, I have some Yes comin' at ya, so don't you go changin'..."

8. What's with the dance mix that is played when an change in the Toledo line-up is announced...Boom Chucka Boom...In for Keith "Stupid" Triplett...#24 Sammy "No Game" Veeeeeeeeejjjjjjjjjguuuusssssssss...Boom Chucka Boom...

9. Stupid fans hung a chicken under the north basket and referred to choking chickens. That is pure class.

10. The "Just Like Football" cheer. How stupid are these guys? They forgot BG came back from 17 at Anderson and almost came back from 11 at Savage. Joplin should have been fired during the second half because his team came out incredibly flat AGAIN.

11. They have a giant flying penis painted on the floor.


OK, so it goes to 11. I just saw a Spinal Tap video. Sue me.

I've only been in that dump once in my lifetime....AA, with all its shortcomings, BLOWS that dungheap away.

Would have been great to steal that one last night. I told Mrs Freak that when BG made that run at the start of the 2nd half, we were gonna do that same thing again...just didn't get the shots to fall last night.

1. artificial noisemakers are not allowed at ANY NCAA basketball game while the game is going.

2. it's not our fault you only paid for one ticket but took up two seats.

3. you'd be back here complaining if it did say possession instead of timeouts if you needed to know that during the game.

Don't think any innuendos were intended, but we'll have to keep pervs like you in our thoughts when making future signs.

As stupid as you, last year you guys did the exact same cheer. And if you get beat by a team in football in a game that matters and that team wins the championship, does that mean you are better because you won your bowl game?

I thought the game last night was one of the worst UT BG games I have ever seen, both teams played sloppy and it was hard for the fans to really get in it. Both teams go to players were basically no factor in the game. The turnout of UT fans was poor, and the turnout of BG fans was poor.

Savage Hall is a dump, but no more than Anderson is. Savage has become an eye soar, but it doesn’t suck for the reasons you said it does, it sucks because it’s old, and to big. Anderson sucks because it’s old and to small.

I would rather have one dump (Savage) than three (Anderson, the Doyt, and the BGSU campus):lol:

I have to agree with him there. we can't really talk about crappy basketball arenas. The only reason we like ours is because it is home. If you were visiting AA would you think it was nice?

Maybe I wouldn't think it was "nice" but I would think "adequate" and a "good home-court advantage".

Just because Joplin has winning record against Dakich does that mean he is a better coach. Dakich is a far better coach than continual underachieving teams of Stan, that's a no brainer:
