I'll be there. Any worry about getting tickets? I'd hate to get locked out. Anyone with any info or suggestions on this please post.

Tickets

Post by SW-MI Falcon »

I've never had a problem in 9 years. However, this is a big game. I'm calling WMU on Monday for tickets at will call.

Copy from the WMU site:

Monday, Feb. 28

Spring semester recess begins. No classes through March 6. WMU offices open during normal business hours.

This will help our ticket situation. Should be able to buy at gate no problem, but I'm calling anyway.

Less that half the place is sold so far. Spring Break there so kids are gone. Seats in upper bowl are all left with some still left in lower bowl.

Let's fill it UP!

I always thought it was three or three and a half hours, but randmcnally.com has it at just under three, which probably means more like 2.5... its all expressway.... 75 to the turnpike to 69 north just after you get in Indiana, then 94 west to the Zoo... about 170 miles.

Just take 23North to Ann Arbor. Then go West on 94. Less than 2 hours West to Zoo. 70mph too.

2.5 hours from BG to K-Zoo

Post by SW-MI Falcon »

I'll edit this since '72 beat me by seconds (no I'm not repeating everything he said). You can also go 75 to 475/23 north to 94 and save the toll. Takes about the same time as turnpike/69. BW3 is just west of campus on Stadium drive for pre-game if you're interested. First round is on me!

Some 'little Animal buddies' will most likely (99.9% with the .1% being us getting slaughtered by a semi on the way up there :D ) be making an appearance!!

Tempting offer, 7hr drive for a free beer. I have never been known to turn one down. Well, maybe I will have one in spirit with you all as I listen to the game.
