Although we won today

Post by Anonymous »

Although we won today I still would like to remind people that we are tied with 5 other teams with a 10-6 record. We lose all them tie breakers except Kent State, meaning if the playoffs were to begin today would be the #5 seed. Now we need to win on Wednesday. We could drop all the way to #9 seed if we lose on Wed. We need the win not only to win the MAC West, but to also play a home tourny game.

Thanks the cold water---but a win today at least keeps us in it. Two more wins ought to put us in control. Lots of hard work ahead. Hopefully, we'll find the shooting touch we seem to have lost of late--

And yes, it was nice to see a great crowd that only seemed to get bigger as the game went on -- nice and noisy at the end when BG came to life. Lots of fun in AA these days.

Beating Western at Kal. would be huge! I am hoping their "Zoo" is less filled and the whole place is less rowdy. Any of the little things helped because we need the win BAD!! GO FALCONS!!!

Are you sure about all those tie-breakers? We beat Buffalo and Kent, lost to Akron and split with the rest. (Assuming Miami doesn't fall into this tie breaker as well.) Seems like we would fare all right in the seeding given that scenario.

And with Ball State losing today, we would have to lose our last two games and Testicle Tech win both thiers just to tie. So it looks like we are in the top 8 since a win next Sat against Central in likely.
