I hope he was using it for medicinal purposes for the knee!!!

I am not surprised. I think a lot of the athletes at every school do this. My freshman year I had the pleasure of driving a couple of the football players from Blackney's team out one night for a good time. I will not name anybody, but when I picked them up it wasn't 1 minute in the car and they were rolling a doobie in the backseat lol I was nervous as hell needless to say!!!

It's such a shame to see this happen. But the guys need to keep their heads up if they want to win the MAC. Let's go Falcons!

Definately terrible news. Hopefully Germain learns from this and can move on.

It kills me to see a kid get in trouble over something so harmless. He isn't doing anything many, many other college students don't do.

Harmless? I guess I should go into more detailed. He was swerving while driving and got pulled over. He didn't have a license so he got cited for that. The officer then smelled pot and found residue on the floor and a burnt blunt in the ash tray. Smoking pot and driving is very harmful. Smoking it without driving can kill you as well so I wouldn't call that harmless.

THANK YOU....
i would just like to say that i don't start rumors... so for you that thought it was a spectulation i knew it would be out sooner or later... and there we have it folks....
I just think that if you have something so great as a talent like his you shouldn't even expose yourself to that kind of trouble... why risk it?!
Anyways... good luck G. fitch, hang tight

Excatly stretch, the university you're at is paying for your college, and you have a chance to play college athletics, but you would rather waist it by smoking pot. I just don't understand that stuff i guess. You dont know how good you have it until it's gone. Hopefully this will be a learning situation for him.

Yeah... law is law. Best wishes to Germain, keep your head up man. Hey at least we can say that our cops don't give our athletes special treatment like that place 22 miles up north :?
