I hope to see many of you here in Cleveland for the tournament! Thursday night should have a great crowd with the teams we have playing.
If any of you need recommendations for places to go to eat/drink/sightsee/whatever, please let me know. I am sure between myself and the other Clevelanders here on AZZ, we can help you out.
And if you want to try and meet up before the game, let's pick a spot...

My friend that went to the game last night and I are going. We got our tickets last night. She lives near Akron, so we are staying at her house. I'm so excited!
Where are your tickets? Our tickets are in section 116 row 20...they didn't look like bad seats on the chart I looked at, but then again I've never been to the Gund.
Go BG!

There really are no bad seats for the tourney. It seems they try and keep everyone in the lower bowl until those seats are filled up.
I am in 133, which is exactly the opposite end from you...

I'll be there with around 20 in orange shirts and khakis and carrying brass/wooden instruments!!

Maybe you could ride the campus shuttle down with the band...
Kidding of course but even if you could, I don't recommend it!

I can only make the finals this year. My bud Mark and I used to go to all 3 days the first few years. But changes in my work sked have brought that to an end...and a Tesla show in Cleveland tomorrow night. Mrs. Freak shouldn't have to watch the Freaklings two nights in a row! And I am saving my last few days of personal time for FOOTBALL.
At least the quarter finals are on WKNR and the semis are on Fox Sports Ohio.
GO FALCONS!!!

I will again be in radio land, but if we win on Thursday, the next game would interfere with the CCHA playoffs, which mean WBGU would be unable to carry it, and I refuse to pay to listen through the athletics website. I guess if I can't find a webcast of whoever we play (if we win of course) I will just listen to hockey, which isn't so bad.

I'll be the hot one with the tenor sax! That's the big one, for you non-music folks.
As for good places to eat, there's the Hard Rock (Band has reservations Wednesday at 5:30. Make reservations soon if you want to go.), Fat Fish Blue, Frank and Pauly's... All very nice, among others. There is a jazz guy at FFB on Friday and a blues guy on Wednesday. I'd be willing to meet some fellow Ay-Ziggers for dinner sometime during the week when possible.

Winking LIzard accross the street is a great destination for those that enjoy a variety of beer (more than Coors Light, Bud, Miller. .. )

The alumni website has the Lizard as the "meeting place" for Falcon fans. They do have a great beer selection, but it can get very crowded there. Same with Flannery's and Harry Buffalo.
We also have the new House of Blues on E. 4th and Euclid (also within walking distance)- great place but a bit pricy on food and beverages.
I guess it all depends on what you're looking for.
