Glad to see that all six Ohio teams made it to the Gund. This will likely drive up attendance for the games, and looks good for television. At the very least, two Ohio teams will represent in the semis tomorrow night. I'd very much like to see an all-Ohio final, like BG and Kent in 2002. I think that the highest-attended MAC final in history (~14K)
Further, Buffalo, who is hoops crazy about now only being three hours down the road (closer than Miami and about as far as OU), and the Gund should be rocking this weekend.
Wasn't BG a #1 and Miami #8 in 2000 when they lost in the first round? I think in OT?...
I am reminded of the words of Jake Taylor today:
