Can someone give me some insider information. BGSU has some games broadcasted on television. We all seen the announcers at the game. Dave Horger and Fran Voll. What channel are these games on. BCSN. That is Buckeye Cable Sports Network. Is BCSN on in BG. Nope. BCSN is the sports channel for Buckey Cable in Maumee and Toledo. Can someone please tell me why we broadcast our games for people in Toledo, but dont broadcast them on Time Warner Sports Channel TW25. Time Warner is in BG, not Buckeye Cable.

We have a hard enough time getting butts in the seats of AA. What effect do you think local television coverage would have on that?
This is why the Browns used to blackout games in the Cleveland area in the early 90's.
Oh, and I think we make sure the games are broadcast is the Toledo area just to remind them periodically that we are better than them.

I would take a stab in the dark and say that our games are not on TimeWarner because they are headquartered in Dayton and that is why we are punished with University of Dayton, Wright State, and Ceaderville games. I have written to them many times about this and never get a responce. TimeWarner and FSN Ohio, the dynamic duo of SUCK in Ohio.

It is what it is.
Actually, we're on in Toledo because Buckeye created a 24 hour sports channel devoted to local sports. 24 hours is 1440 minutes. 1440 minutes is 86400 seconds. That's a lot of time to fill and Tom Cole and Norm Wamer really aren't wide enough to fill it. So, the BCSN crew happily treks down to BGSU to show our fine athletes in all forms of competition.
Maybe Time Warner needs to do something similar in thier Ohio markets.
