Fla is hot. They are going have a tough time there as the #13.
I hope we get another MAC team

Yeah, I don't expect a win from Ohio over Florida. I didn't expect them to beat Miami either but Florida is on a different level than most if not all MAC teams.

Why is OU even going to play this game? I mean Florida is a big conference school and that second round matchup between Florida and Villanova is going to be great. Seth Davis is an ass.
I think the chances of Buffalo or Miami getting in is about nil right now. Northern Iowa and Iowa State getting in are killers. Iowa State was 18-11 (?) with an RPI in the upper 70's. Why even bother saying that the RPI matters?

When around 8 teams don't have a chance to win our conference a week before the season is over.kdog27 wrote:MAC gets screwed again!!![]()
When will it ever end?

It's all our fault -- if we had not beaten Buffalo and Miami at home, then their records would have looked that much better. Buffalo and Miami were victims of the MAC's balance this year. Too many good teams beating each other up, which made the conference as a whole look good, but no one team really stood out to the idiots (committee members).
I think some of the MAC schools should stop playing the big boys on the road. Obviously it does us no good to play them (even if we win), so why continue to give them home games?
Erik Crawford gets to play in his 2nd NCAA tournament and West Virginia goes dancing. That's a nice swift kick in the youknowwhat to BG and Dakich.

This has to be his senior (4th or 5th) year. He did have to sit out a year after transferring so that could make it seem like he should have had his 4 years of elgibility by now...kdog27 wrote:He is still around? It seems like forever ago that he was at BG.

Since making it to the championship game in 2000, Florida has bowed out in the first 2 rounds every year. They have been between a 3 and 5 seed every year. I know they won the SEC tournament and appear to be on a roll coming into the tournament, but this team hasn't exactly torn the tournament up lately.
Before they went off the air, Seth Davis again made a comment about how great the UF/Villanova matchup is going to be. I hope either OU or whoever Villanove is playing beat them to spoil it for that joker.
Erik Crawford is only a junior BTW. Freshman in 01-02, redshirt in 02-03, and now 2 straight years going to the Dance. He'll probably get there next year also to top it off.
