NCAA Tourny First Round Games. Talk here

Post by Anonymous »

Its halftime of one of the NCAA games, and my teams are hanging in there. I picked all upsets in these 4 games, although one team was ranked righer than the other.

I have E. Kentucky beating KY, and they trail by only 8 at half. I just did not like hoe KY played last week against Florida.

Also have Wis-Mil beat Bama, and they are!!! WM is up by 13 at the half!

My other surprises were Pacific, up by 10, and Niagra, down by 15. Just with a name like Niagra, I thought they would be UP for it, for at least 6 hours.

Everything is working well for me except for Bama/Wis-Mil. WTF! I got Pacific beating Pitt, Kentucky beating EKU, Pac. over Pitt., and Sooners over Niagara.

Not related, but I'm loving Boise State's floor. Could we do something with a falcon head?

I am at work so I cant see the floor, but will hopefully see it tonight or later during the highlights. Is their floor BLUE?

No, they got their Bronco painted halfway on the end line. So, part of this huge Bronco head is in the paint. Looks damn nice.

If they did something like that in BG, John Floyd or Robinson would definately loose sight of the ball, and have even more turnovers

Boise plays in the "Taco Bell Arena." This looks like a really good place to watch a game. Think we could get one of these in the 7K range?

That might be my new favorite court. I really like that.

Maybe we can get Myle's to pony up the cash for naming rights?

Well if it was up to Dakich, we would name it Cheeseburger Arena, or CJ Arena (after CJ Sports bar at Al-Mar Lanes). If I hear one more commercial on the radio on how much he loves them chheseburgers I think I am going to go over to his house and drop of 10lbs of ground beef and a package of cheese so he wis wife can make him his own cheeseburgers.

Yes I am, tomorrow morning. I wish I would have known it was open gym so you could watch all the teams practice or I would have made arrangments to leave today.

Must be nice...the band isn't leaving to Detroit until 3:15am on Saturday...

I'm 4-0 in the first four games, I'm going to bask in the limelight and gloat while I can, because in the second four games I'll likely be 0-4.
