From the ESPN/USA Today March 7-13 Poll and the likewise AP Poll . . .
The Final Four is as follows:
#1 Illinois, poll champion in both major recognized polls
#2 North Carolina, rated #3 in the Coaches' poll, but #2 all year
#3 Duke, lost a tough battle in the Sweet Sixteen
#4 Louisville, how they were a #4 seed is beyond any logical explanation?
#15 Michigan State, #15 in both major polls and made a magical run
3 of the top four teams and still arguably the top two teams in the country are playing for all the marbles tonight. The upsets just make it more enjoyable to watch along the way. There's no reason that the NCAA and the BCS can't figure out a 16, 32 or 48 team playoff could make a lot more money that the biased and outdated bowl system. And it would be a lot more fun to watch.
Hey BCS, Playoffs DO work!

He must be a descendant of Billy Packer or Dick Vitale and couldn't bring himself to leave Duke out of it.transfer2BGSU wrote:How come your final four contains five teams?

Dukie V pitches a serious tent for Duke and the ACC. In college, my roommates and I would play a drinking game where we would have to drink everytime Duke, coach k, or cameron indoor were mentioned in a nonDuke game. No surprise this year he predicted 3 of the final 4 teams from the ACC.TG1996 wrote:
