wart, how about that shooting percentage? 11 for 12 with his only miss a three. Good all star game for him.

We will need some help from somebody and perhaps Mr. Marschall will be one of those players.

Girls signee Jessica McKenzie grabbed 13 boards to go with seven points in her game. Too lazy to post on other forum!

Go Falcons!

I saw that in the box score and forgot to post that. Yes, that is impressive. But nobody plays defense in all-star games, so not sure how impressive it really was. :?

It's ALIVE! This thread that is.

Erik Marschall is playing today in the Ohio-West Virginia Classic and will play again this Saturday at WVU.

Leading the Ohio All-Stars will be New London 6-foot-7 forward Erik Marschall who has signed with Bowling Green.

Marschall averaged 18.3 points a game and earned Division III first team All-Ohio honors. He will play for Dan Dakich, the former assistant coach at Indiana who coached under Bob Knight. Marschall said he picked Bowling Green in par because of Dakich.

"He gets you fired up. He's a lot like coach Knight," Marschall said. "He's a good guy. He's one of those guys that if you need anything, he'll help you out. He's probably the reason why I chose Bowling Green."

Marschall played in the Ohio High School Basketball Coaches annual North/South All-Star game and a local all-star game. He said it's not only fun to play in an all-star game, it's a challenge as well.

"The North/South game was a lot of fun. There were a lot of good players. It was a first-class set up," Marschall said. "There shouldn't be pressure in an all-star game. You just compete and have fun and you get to go up against good players. It brings back AAU memories.

"But you try to win. You've got to represent your state. This is for bragging rights."

Uh-oh

The Ohio boys played with only six players much of the game after three players withdrew and another, Bowling Green recruit Erik Marschall (New London), hurt his knee midway through the first half.
