AD confirms he plans to test free-agent market
Antonio Daniels confirmed yesterday that he plans to opt out of a deal that would pay him $2.2 million next season, and test the free-agent market.
Daniels' stellar performance in the playoffs, in which he outplayed Spurs guard Tony Parker, has increased his value, while injuries to reserve forward Vladimir Radmanovic might have decreased what teams will offer him.

Good Idea McMetz!!
Give him an incentive to try Cleveland out! Cleveland could use a good pg with Lebron at the 2 or 3 spot. Shouldnt' be too hard to find some more better players to play with a unselfish guy like Lebron.

I will never like bron bron. He showed up to a game during the MAC Tournament and sat right behind the athletic band. One of the cheerleaders walked over to ask for an autograph and Lebron goes, "No, I don't know you" while a cop comes over and pushes the cheerleader away. While it's true, you could be a lot more respectful in how you decline an autograph. The guy is younger than me, I guess it pisses me off he's so stuck up. But hey, when you are "King James," you can be a selfish dick and get away with it.falconboy wrote:unselfish guy like Lebron.

Re: What?
I'm in band, the band stands right by the player/lockeroom entrance. Drew Gooden showed up and gave out a bunch of autographs, then LeBron and McInnis both walked in. On the final day, I got to meet Tractor Traylor down by the locker rooms as well. Being in band is an easy way to have access to things most people never get to see!falconboy wrote:Okay how did you get so close to Lebron to hear all this?
Speaking of that, I even got to meet Bernie Kosar in the tunnel back when the band went to the Browns game. Then during pregame I got to sing the National Anthem next to Ray Lewis and Tony Siragusa. Getting to walk 2' away from the Ben-Gals this past season wasn't that bad either

that's not what happened to me at the same game at the same time in the same place. he said no to anyone (including me) that wanted his autograph. after he and j-mac went back in the locker room, the security guard by the locker room came over to me and the undressed freddie standing next to me and said, "lebron wanted me to let you guys know that he wasn't siging autgraphs beacuse he didn't want to take people's focus off of the game."McMetz811 wrote:I will never like bron bron. I did see him turn down others, but the action to the first kid over there I heard and saw. But that's cool the guard came back and said that cause I didn't catch that.jacojdm wrote: that's not what happened to me at the same game at the same time in the same place. he said no to anyone (including me) that wanted his autograph. after he and j-mac went back in the locker room, the security guard by the locker room came over to me and the undressed freddie standing next to me and said, "lebron wanted me to let you guys know that he wasn't siging autgraphs beacuse he didn't want to take people's focus off of the game."

No, Golfer. Check out www.berniesinsiders.comgolfertk14 wrote:If you're talking about the official one on browns.com I'm Parmabrowns1.hammb wrote:There was rumor on the Browns message board that the Cavs might get the Seattle coach. The rumor also said that they'd pursue Ray Allen & Antonio.
Who knows, but AD would be a great fit in C-town!
It is THE definitive NFL team message board. There are very few other teams' boards that can even compare to the amount of traffic on Bernies. There are tons of threads on there every day and those guys are the most die hard Browns fans you'll ever find.
The site has been around since '98 or so, but used to be Brownstng.com until they sold it to Bernie. Yes, Bernie Kosar is a financial backer of the site, although I've never actually seen him visit the site. In the beginning it was a place to bitch about losing our team, then it was a place for excitement about the coming rebirth, and since its been a place to bitch for the product we've had since the rebirth
I'd HIGHLY recommend the watercooler on there. It's a Browns forum, where any topic is allowed, especially in the offseason. There are a lot of people there that can offer hints/advice on just about any topic you can imagine. There are also a lot of very knowledgeable football people there. You should check it out if you want to talk Browns football.
I would disagree. The Eagles message board has a lot more traffic than Bernies...hammb wrote:

Bernie has 6519 members while the Eagles has 65,000+
Bernie has had less than 200,00 replies while the Eagles have had over 3 million
But to stay on topic, AD is going to get a huge payday with the way he played this season, especially late. I really hope he ends up somewhere other than Cleveland so I can still root for him.

It's funny...AD and Chauncey Billups have enjoyed similar careers after being taken 3rd and 4th in 1997. It took Billups a few years to mature as a player and it looks like AD has finally begun to reach his potential too.
If AD signs with the Cavs, he can forget about getting a ring (soon to be two rings) like Chauncey has with the Pistons
