BG vs Florida State!

MOBILE, Ala. - The University of South Alabama is slated to host the seventh annual Coors Classic in a one-night college basketball doubleheader scheduled for Dec. 17, at the 10,000-seat Mitchell Center. This year’s classic features Florida State out of the Atlantic Coast Conference versus Bowling Green of the Mid-American Conference in the opening game, while South Alabama battles Houston of Conference USA in the nightcap.

SWEET!
Not a premiere hoops program, but they've had some success recently. I just love to see us playing teams that have "name" value.

I think they should hire John Mason, the Pistons public address announcer, to work the game so people can hear his introduction of Florida State head coach Leo...nard Ham...il...ton.

Very cool! Big name school in FSU. Great trip for the guys on the team as well.

You know, with UH also in this classic, I just might have to try to make this one. That would be awesome. I haven't seen a BG basketball game live since 2000, and this would be perfect. I could get some of my UH alumni friends to go and let them see BG up close. Wow, I am really excited about this one. My team will be on a week break at this time, count me in. Who else wants to go?
