I thought the same thing, but when the dominoes fall, it's not as simple as "Cincy needs a coach and Dakich would never go there..." SOMEONE has to fill that UC spot, and if it ends up being a coach bailing for greener pastures, or a chance at coaching a team in a solid hoops conference, things happen. Then all of a sudden, say a job at a reputable school opens up and someone like... oh... Mike Davis decides he doesn't want to coach at Indiana under the microscope this year, then even if he does well, hear about letting Greg Oden slip away next year... suddenly the IU job opens up and... well... you know.Warthog wrote:If he left WVU after a couple days because he found out what was going on there, do you really think he should even waste his time thinking about following Huggins at Cincy?:coo-coo:
Dominoes would imply more than Dakich going directly to Cincy. Please apologize for the end statements. Sorry, God.OptionQB wrote:I would like to have some of the Kool-Aid that some of you are serving that think that Dan Dakich is remotely near the short list of candidates at IU should they part ways with Mike Davis.
