I'm pretty sure the Devin Brown signing doesn't affect Keith much. Devin is a shooting guard and Utah has said repeatedly that they want to carry three point guards.
Great for Keith!!

Its a shame that Toronto didn't sign him to an offer sheet anyway...say at $1.2. If Utah "would match it anyway," Keith would have gotten a nice raise. We've seen this done many times, making another team use up cap room to match an offer. Teams do it to each other all the time. The Toronto GM must like the Utah GM?

“He’s a good defender, he’s a
goof ball-handler, he distributes the ball well and he knows how to run our offense,” Jazz Chief Financial Officer Bob Hyde said. “And our offense is one that requires a lot of execution.”
Never knew that handling goof balls made you good at basketball. I guess handling some of the goof balls on this board makes me good at bball

McLeod Remains Without A Contract, But Return To Utah Virtually A Lock

Deseret News - Talks are ongoing with Jazz restricted free agent point guard Keith McLeod, whose representative has yet to present the Jazz with an offer sheet from another team.
The Jazz signed him to a qualifying offer during the summer and will retain his rights unless another team signs him to an offer sheet that the Jazz don't care to match. Utah would likely match any reasonable amount. [READ]
