Boise, Idaho - Former Bowling Green State University men's basketball player John Reimold was the 24th selection in the 2005 Continental Basketball Association draft, Tuesday. He was chosen in the third round by the Dakota Wizards.
Reimold was named second-team All-MAC and was a Mid-Major All-American after leading the MAC in scoring at 18.5 points per game last season. He also finished as the career leader in three-point field goals at BGSU with 228 and scored 1,380 points in three seasons.
Reimold is a native of Greenville, Pa. and came to BGSU after spending one year at Loyola (Md.). His younger brother, Nolan, who played for the BGSU baseball team, was the 2005 MAC Baseball Player of the Year and was a second round draft pick of the Baltimore Orioles last June.
