Dakich was on 1470 tonight and said that we were opening the season with DePaul. I know no more than that...

I haven't always been the biggest Norm Wamer fan, but he does a great job of covering BG sports. Mabe someone will get a pulse over at WCWA and our Toledo affiliate might begin covering BG sports as well.

Tom Cole is still a dope....

Too much to hope for

That's a pretty good pick up for BG.

DePaul would be a strong pick-up for us. 2-for-1 wouldn't be bad either, but we'll have to wait and see . . . Just keep the non-D1's off the schedule.

THat is a nice pick up. Hopefully it falls on a weekend, I could use a trip to the windy city for some hot dogs, libation and Falcon hoops. . .

Nice. Depaul certainly has had success over the years. And folks know the name.

DePaul played at OU last year, and hosted Toledo. It's about time we get a shot at them.
Do they still play at the Rosemont Horizon, or whatever its called these days?

Rosemont is the newly renovated Allstate Arena and very nice. Not a bad seat. The set up is very similar to Nationwide in Columbus.

Hopefully, the game will be on a weekend. You can get some great deals on hotels near the Allstate Arena on the weekends.

I love Chicago. I used to visit my brother there before he died back in 2000. I need a reason to come back

Well, let's all hope it's on a weekend and we can meet up...
Old Style beers, deep dish pizza, and Chicago dogs for all!

We open with Depaul, Miami opens at home vs. Purdue

The Plain Dealer today said Purdue will travel to Oxford to open their season.
