Anyone have any idea how long the scrimmage will run on Saturday? I believe is starts at 1:00, right? I'm guessing no more than an hour or so. I'm planning on stopping by, anyone else thinking the same? I'm anxious to see some of these guys play, even in just a scrimmage. Too bad we can't tailgate inside Anderson Arena before the football game.

"Falcon fans can get their first look at the 2005-06 squad next Saturday, October 22, when the team holds a 1 p.m. scrimmage in Anderson Arena".

Would anyone be able to observe the scrimmage and take a few notes (mental or written) and provide a report?
Metz caught the freshmen scrimmaging and reported that the class was loaded with shooters, but that was weeks ago and die-hard Falcon fans have had nothing to go off of since then.
A detailed synopsis, I'm sure, would be greatly appreciated.

I hope to have something up here Sunday morning.
Personally, I'm rather surprised that a lot more hasn't been posted by now.

Practices are closed, those who know aren't allowed to talk anyways.

Will the players be wearing name tags for fans who attend the scrimmage?

I've never seen the freshmen scrimmaging. Don't know where that came from. We do have shooters though, that fact still remains.

My bad Metz, I thought those observations (and photos) came from an actual scrimmage from this Anderson Animals thread:

Glad we'll be able to find out how things are going fairly soon.

Anyone go? I'm eager to see some reactions. Unfortunately, this is the first year in probably 10 that I won't be able to see a game since I'm stuck in Texas.
I want observations folks!
