Guess AD wasn't too big on his situation in Seattle

Former Sonics guard Antonio Daniels took a not-so-subtle swipe at his ex-teammates, particularly Fortson, when asked about his new surroundings with the Washington Wizards.

"This is a great group of guys," he told the San Antonio Express-News. "That knucklehead factor isn't here. You don't have to worry about somebody coming into the locker room and throwing a tirade."

Privately, Daniels fumed on several occasions last year and was upset after Fortson's chair-tossing incident following an ejection on Feb.10 against Sacramento.

What do you expect from a former UC player? It's not like Fortson had high standards to uphold at UC. He's a walking technical foul. I mean the man has been traded 6 times in eight years, I wonder why? <rhetorical>

I don't think AD was traded all of those times. I think he was a FA.

As Tricky points out, being a FA is not the same as being traded. It is true that AD is on his fifth team, but has only been traded twice. Once to the Spurs and once to the Trailblazers. So I guess the trade argument would still hold water.

The real point is that AD doesn't throw chairs around the locker room, have temper tantrums about playing time and lead the league in technicals. Fortson has done all of these and they have been documented. AD has not exhibited this type of behavior, that's the real difference. Feel free to defend Danny all you'd like, but I think there is a real difference in demeanor and class between the two.

Can't even remember where Daniels is playing this year but in the SI basketball issue he was (sort of ) the featured player for that team in the narrative. Called him a combo guard which I guess means he came with fries and a drink for just $.99 more. Of course that $.99 counts against the salary cap...

I see all of our "rocket" friends are right on top of prices at McDonalds. I wonder if that might be from their experience working the drive-up window?

Nope. I got an engineering degree and a Master's on top of that so they let me work the stove. :D I also noted that in the same issue of SI Earl Boykins and Wally S followed by a whole bunch of letters k were the feature pictures for their respective teams. Kind of like the NBA's MAC version.
