Downside is that we have 12 fouls compared to 4 for VT. Soler picked up his 3rd foul with 58 seconds to go in the 1st half. Lefeld, Marschall, and Robinson each have 2 fouls.

Let's hope the calls go our way more in the 2nd half, or we may run out of players.

Up 33-28 at the half. Never underestimate a after the game practice to get the kids motivated. The fact that the kids have shown improvement is great. That's all that we can ask for, and I really don't want to hear anyone complain after the game if we do end up losing. This team is growing, and that's all we can ask. Foul trouble is again a problem. But you are going to have that when you are primarily a man to man team. There is more reliance on the individuals to make plays, and the aggresiveness tends to make a few more opportunities to commit fouls. So none of the "we got homered" tantrums either. Great first half, and let's all be positive for just as good of a second half. GO FALCONS!

I think the refs noticed this and just slapped back-to-back fouls on the same player for VT in a 10-sec span.

Yahoo! showed BG up 72-71 after a FLoyd jumper with 2 seconds left. Then flashed the final as 71-70. I was excited for a minute there. What a tough losss-would have been great to notch one up against the mighty ACC.
