I like the sound of these two players. If......"IF".....we can keep everyone around after this season and avoid the transfer bug, and can get everyone eligible, etc., we could have some outstanding talent on hand at BG for years to come. We rebuild year after year with all our defections, I can only hope we can start reloading from now on. With all the rebuilding our basketball team has done the past three or four years, we could have had a new basketball arena in place by now.....that was supposed to be a joke.
GO BG!!!
You would think so, but then again, I keep finding myself thinking the same thing year after year with these guys. Sometimes I don't know what hurts more, saying "maybe next year" when it comes to making the NCAA Tournament or when it comes to hoping we don't lose any more transfers.Flipper wrote:Regression to the mean...we won't have anyone transfer out because we've had way more leave than normal. .....don't we?
GO BG!!!
What I liked most out of that article was the fact that Larson is apparently a Straight "A" student. That's good. Anyone know about Sims' academics?
As much as the transfers have hurt, I really hate that we've had guys like Harwell, Wright, Moten, and Sullivan all come in and not be eligible. When you're dealing with so many transfers its really tough to build a program when we then lose so many players to eligibility.
