Kevin Netter sighting

Watched Big Kev get some quality minutes for the Ohio Aviators in their defeat at the hands of the Toledo Ice (ABA) on BCSN last night. He didn't play too badly, he was active on defense and ran the floor well. Didn't foul a whole lot either...
Dubrey Black had some quality minutes for the Ice. If you want to see this team, I suggest you act quickly. It looks like they drew about 100 people last night to the Seagate center. I doubt the live gate was enough to cover the cost of taping the guy' ankles.

I know Netter took some heat when he was here at BG, but I sure wish we had him this year. When he came to play, he was a pretty good player. Best of luck Kevin.

Kevin Netter has a degree from Bowling Green State University and spent 5 full seasons with the BGSU basketball program. If for no other reasons than that, I have a lot more respect for him than many of the people to enter the program in recent times.

I thought the same thing about the crowd when I saw the highlights on the news Flipper. It sounds like a cool idea, but it looked like there were about 50 people in the stands. However, I talked to a guy who had tickets to the Saturday game and said the place was PACKED, everything except for the corners was full.
Hopefully the attendance was bad simply because it was a Sunday afternoon game during NFL season. Perhaps the Saturday game is more indicative of what they'll draw.

Did Kevin look like he's added any weight?

Well said, Brewer.
