Moten to play Sat. versus Florida St.
Moten to play Sat. versus Florida St.
Coach DD say Brian Moten will play within the first ten minutes. Either that says he is pretty good or the current team is so bad that a guy that hasn't practice all year or played a college game yet can come in and play immediately. DD says Moten can be a special player. Well we need a special player that can play point guard.

What if he's late for the bus?OSUFALCON wrote:Coach DD say Brian Moten will play within the first ten minutes.

First offense, he's benched. Next, he'll be tied in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds*. Then, we start removing fingers. Gotta have discipline. DD is a strict disciplinarian, and the players know it going in. No excuses, dammit. This is college basketball.Warthog wrote:What if he's late for the bus?OSUFALCON wrote:Coach DD say Brian Moten will play within the first ten minutes.
Seriously though, being 15 minutes late for a bus to the airport is a bit more intense than I what pictured when this was first reported. A game suspension is stiff, but it's not like he walked in 3 minutes late to an ordinary practice. A butt chewing wouldn't have been enough, and the problem occurred at a time inopportune for extra sprints or a 6am practice.
I'll never forget the first and last time Lamon Pippin was late to a practice. He was a senior. Coach L bellowed, "Look everybody, in four years, this is a first!" And that was that. Lamon was rock solid.
(*Dr. Evil reference.)

whatever. those planes' aisles are plenty wide for a 2 hour flight worth of gassers.BleedOrange wrote:and the problem occurred at a time inopportune for extra sprints or a 6am practice.
