BG beats Troy, 60-52. A much needed and long overdue win! It didn't sound pretty, but a win is a win. Let's come home and get ready for the real fun.....the MAC schedule is right around the corner after Notre Dame (Ohio).

We outrebounded Troy by 1...and played great defense. I still see we are having our shooting woes...even from the line (14-23). IF we can improve the shooting, this team could be a force. Nice to get the win, that's all that mattered!

Troy is a decent team.

One more to go in OOC and then it's the MAC.

Freak, I'm glad we outrebounded them, but their announcers made them sound like a middle school team height-wise. Very small along the frontline and the backcourt guys were pretty small. Their announcers and coach were thrilled to be outrebounded by only 1. The defense was fantastic all night according to Troy's radio crew.

Didn't get a chance to listen to the game so I didn't know. As tough a start as this team had, I was glad to see another positive!
The D....there's the key. Play D like that and you'll have a chance in almost any game! What a win can do for the confidence.
