this happened to me twice recently....

Once while Christmas shopping and once while at Kroger's, I was asked about my hat.
"What's BGSU?"
It didn't bother me that the 50 year old clerk at the mall didn't know what BGSU meant and still looked confused when I said Bowling Green State University.
It did bother me when the kid bagging groceries who looked to be 17 had no idea what I was talking about.
It shouldn't bug me if some kid in Fairfield will never know the magic of Howard's or Anderson Arena or the Doyt, but it did.

The Kroger's was in Fairfield, a suburb of Hamilton....

Speaking of me...I had a similar experience at a Kroger, but it was over in Fairfield.

I went to Kroger's here in Kentucky wearing my BG hat and they didn't know where Fairfield was, let alone that Hamilton had suburbs.
