Erik Marshall.......

Post by Falconboy »

The forward we thought Corey Eynk was. Seriously , this kid is doing things and showing the kind of athletic ability that we wished Enyk had been be never was. Marshall plays alot bigger than his 6'7 and as I saw the 2nd half of the game last night , he made some very nice moves inside near the basket that Corey would never attempt even.

Man , if we only had Lionel Sullivan this year as well. I see Marschall being a very good player for us.

Maybe someday he'll impress you so much that you'll learn how to spell his name...

Good one, Flip. He could also foul out a little less...still, I like him a a lot. He's going to be a good one.

He reminds me of Bill Faine, let's hope he turns out that good! Faine was always playing bigger guys and could more than hold his own.

I remember Bill. He was strong but had a lot of finesse. However, I think that Erik has more athleticism. Much more.

I was thinking that maybe if Marschall continues to improve Falconboy might actually pay to get into a game or come before 13:00 left in the second half.

Last night was not one of his better games either.

E Marschall- All MAC freshmen team. Likely Freshman of the Year. Will be All MAC as a junior and senior. One of the best looking bigger players we have had in the Dakich era. Stronger than the average 18 year old with coach's son attitude. Very athletic kid.

Just my opinion and prediction. Good luck to Mr. Marschall.

I agree with you,... IF... he can learn to stay out of foul trouble.

There are a couple of other strong looking freshman. Carlos Medlock and Michael Bramos at EMU & Miami. Acker is coming along at Ball State. Kellerman is doing well for CMU. So far, Erik has the best overall numbers. Foul trouble has capped is mpg at 22.3. If he can learn not to foul he'll play 30-35 mpg.
