Can we end the streak with our trip to The Zoo?

BG hasn't beaten WMU in four years (not since 2002) and has lost the last six meetings in the series. Although we're very young and inexperienced, the Broncos have been dealing with a lot of growing pains of their own and aren't nearly the team they've been in recent years. As always, it will be tough to win at The Zoo, but if we can sneak out of there with a win, it would be huge for this team and we wouldn't have to wait another year to end this losing streak. Hey, we won at Virginia Tech, why not at Western Michigan? GO BG!!!

The Michigan schools are really down this year so far. WMU will be looking to regain their confidence since they are playing with very little of it now (this coming from some of their fans.)
It should be a good game. If the team goes up early, this game could be over early (if the confidence issue is true.)
GO BG!

... and they (WMU) are comming off a serious whoopin down in Athens. 30+ margin of defeat. And I spoke to an OU alum who said it wasn't even that close (don't know how that could be true).
RUIT makes a good point: if BG can jump on them early I like our chances.

2-0 MAC sounds great to me.

BG can win this game.

This will certainly be a good opportunity to go to 2-0, and we know any road win this year is going to be a battle. But it would be sweet to get a victory up there and end this streak.

Dusan Radivojevic saw his first action of the season against Oakland and has been a key performer off the bench... he had a season-high nine points at Troy... he missed the first four games of the season due to a foot injury...
he suffered a broken nose in practice on Monday and is wearing a protective mask.

Hopefully this "masked-man" will lead us to a victory over the Broncos. I'm tired of losing to WMU.....and now that I think about it, I don't think there is a single player on the team who has been a part of a BG win over WMU. The streak has gotta end. GO BG!!!

We could very well win the game but I doubt that Dusan will be the man to lead us to the victory...I've been very unimpressed with his play so far.
Marschall, on the other hand, looks like he could be a future All-MAC player.

western michigan's favored by 8 in this game. i'm kinda surprised that number isnt a bit lower after western's total embarrassment at ohio. 2-0 in the mac would be a great start for a team that was predicted last in the east. next week will start the real tests for the falcons v. northern illinois on wednesday and v. toledo on sunday. lets pack anderson and show our support for the falcons!!!!!!!

Cool. Then you can focus your attention on Ron Lewis.
I wish WMU were on Gametracker, though...
