Important game against NIU on Wednesday
Important game against NIU on Wednesday
It pretty much goes without saying that a conference game is important. But after our last outing, a blowout loss to a poor WMU team, we really need to bounce back at home and get a win. NIU is a very solid team and is probably the best team in the MAC West. I hope we come out and get a win and that we can also finally get a decent crowd in Anderson Arena, especially now that the students are back and we are playing a conference game. Our largest (ha!) crowd this season has been just 1,542.....that's just flat out sorry. Our other crowd figures were 1,212; 1,201 and 1,035. I know we aren't the best in the MAC and we have a losing record, etc., but to average under 1,300 for a MAC school two months into the season is just very poor. I know two of our games were against non D-I schools and that a few games also came over break, but I hope we can at least get a decent showing tomorrow night. But more importantly, I really hope we can get a victory.
GO BG!!!
Happy New Year Falcons... its been a long time since I've visited!
Can we expect a student turnout tonight?
Is school back in session?
Help me learn more about your squad.
1. Please provide a scouting report on Marschall. Good defender?
High ceiling?
2. Is it accurate to say BGSU goes as far as Samarco will take them?
If NIU holds Samarco to 10 pts. will the Huskes likely win?
Statistically the defenses are nearly identical.
NIU MAY be slightly better offensively and have greater bench depth.
But Anderson is a tough place to play.
Kindly share your thoughts.
P.S. It's a shame Buffalo stumbled last night.
