Questions for Paul Krebs

On February 4, I'm going to have the opportunity to sit down with BGSU athletic director, Paul Krebs and ask him some questions. I'd like to use this thread to collect questions from the Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba.com membership to present to Mr. Krebs.
Please post your questions, concerns and praises here.
A word of caution: If this thread breaks down like so many others do, I'll just delete it and go with my own questions.
Thanks! Myself and Mr. Krebs look forward to getting some of your questions answered!

I would like to know more about the study on upgrading AA or building a new convo center. Did I miss those results? What size would the CC be? Where?

Why, at least during the Men's Basketball games do they sing the National Anthem while both teams are still in the lockerroom? I almost see it as disrespectful to have it played when the teams playing are not present, and it's not as though as it would slow the start of the game by much.

When does LaMonta Stone take over as head coach of the basketball team?
Seriously, I'm with Warthog, very curious to hear about the feasibility study. I'm also curious if they're going to look into some sort of parking structure next to the library if they decide to renovate Anderson. After last night's experience I really think they need to do something about parking. It's a pain for all of us trying to get to the game, as well as for all the students who have a class at that time.

Are there any plans at this time to do renovation work to the Doyt? Some of the concrete is starting to crumble and we saw what happened last year when that slab fell. Since it is 40 years old & with the Sebo Center coming, it seems it would be a good time to do some work on the stadium itself.
Also, how about the renovations for the Ice Arena?
Thanks Grant!

How about a new ice arena altogether?

This is not out of disrespect at all. DD just wants the guys in because he wants them to stay focused before the game.

If you were at the arena this past Saturday I don't think you'd be asking that question. Renovations w/o changing the atmosphere that can be generated in there is what's needed.

The parking structure will be behind the Student Health Center (in what is currently a commuter parking lot - Lot 1 I believe).

I've heard there is one going in across from the Union, where the church and hippie houses now sit.

The Master Plan has the University building three parking structures.
One behind the Student Health Center, one on Thurstin Street (not exactly sure, but I am it would be across from Administration Building) and one out by the new convoation center in what is now Lot 6.

Here is an idea to alleviate the parking mess.
Have parking at the ice arena or field house for basketball. Then use BGSU shuttles to take people and drop them at Anderson Arena. You could have the shuttles go West on Ridge street driving left of center to by pass those trying to park in the lot and have the East bound traffic on Ridge be forced to turn north at the music building. Would make things very smooth and better than walking from the technology lots on a blistery night.

Pull it back to JUST questions. If you want to take parking outside, please start another thread.

You beat me to it, Mark... thanks!

These "Krebs threads" aren't really intended for discussion of the issues. Although if some clarification needs to be made on a point, that's acceptable. I'm just looking for an easy way to get a nice list of questions together. The more minutia I have to sift through to get any good content, the less effective this will be.
