Kent State (1), Akron (3), Ohio (4) and Northern Illinois (2) would all get byes to Cleveland.

The first round campus games would be:

(12) Eastern Michigan at (5) Miami
(11) Central Michigan at (6) Buffalo
(10) Ball State at (7) Western Michigan
(9) Toledo at (8 ) Bowling Green

Lot of basketball left to play. We are going to be right on that bubble for a home tourney game the rest of season.

Well, that would be cool if we played Toledo again in round 1. I think we would win that and get to Cleveland if that was the matchup. Of course, I am of the belief that anything can happen come tourney time. I remember the first time the MAC tournament was in Cleveland and BG was the #1 seed. They played against Miami, the #9 seed, and got beat.

IMO I was actually cheering for Miami that day....This was 3 years before I started looking at colleges.
