Attention Everyone: Go To The BG/OU Game!!!

For starters, the BG/OU game should be a very good game. BG has been playing very competitively and aside from the WMU game early on, the Falcons have really battled everyone they’ve played in the conference. We have some solid wins over teams like Virginia Tech and Kent State, we beat rival Toledo in a good game a few weeks ago, and BG has probably played harder and better than a lot of people would have expected them to this year. Our opponent, Ohio, is this year’s MAC preseason favorite. They have a very deep and talented team, they are enjoying a solid season this year, they are the defending MAC Tournament Champions, they were in the NCAA Tournament last season, and they “coulda, woulda, shoulda” beaten Kentucky a few weeks ago. And if all of that doesn’t peak your interest, just remember all the crap our little Ohio Bobcat friend has been stirring up on here the last few weeks. A BG win could finally shut this guy up, but actions speak louder than words do. So with that said, make sure you get to this game. It’s at 2:00 so it’s not too early, it’s not too late, and most importantly, our team needs and deserves our support! These guys are playing their asses off and we need to rally behind them. So on Saturday, grab some friends, bring the girlfriend, boyfriend, wife, husband, the kids, the parents or whoever you can, and help BG get this important and much needed victory!!! I hope to see you all there. GO BG!!!

OK, nobody laugh...
Is this gonna sell out? OU travels well (for the MAC) and they have the most "hype" in the conference. I am gonna tell the wife I am going out for milk and sneak to the game (what, it could take 6 hours - long lines). Just don't want to drive 2 hours, not get in and drive back.
Any word about ticket sales?
Thanks.

We haven't sold out a game in 3 years...pretty sure this one won't sell out either.

I didn't know that. Really, 3 years? Wow, sorry for the stupid question.

I might be wrong, but I don't think we've had an actual sellout since the McLeod/Matela team of '01-'02.
There are no stupid questions, now you know. Our attendance this year has been averaging about 1500 people, or thereabouts. Last week's Sunday game brought out 2200. I think we may get more for the Saturday game against Ohio, but I still bet it won't be more than 3500 at the very most.
I'll be there, of course

I won't need a ticket since I'll be selling 50/50 tickets.
But you can buy the winning ticket from me.
GO FALCONS! BEAT MIAMI!

How would one get a guarantee on that winning ticket?

It should be a great game and everyone that goes to the BBall game needs toget over to the ice arena right after and support the hockey team!! its a 5 oclock start for them. GO FALCONS!!!!!!!

He can't. Freak pulled that line on me once. Turned out to be just another $5 donation to the Falcon Club. Or would that be a $2.50 donation since the winner took my other $2.50.

I know it's supposed to be a donation to the Falcon Club and whatnot, but I just cannot bring myself to buy a ticket into a drawing where I'm getting 750:1 on my money but 1500:1 odds on winning...damn that's a bad bet.

Just like Bartles and Jaymes, Neal and I appreciate your support
Neal and I sold the winning ticket at the NIU game a few weeks ago.
