dime drafts

What was the name of the joint on Main St. that used to have dime a draft night? Or maybe it was a nickel a draft or something crazy. It was Monday nights (I think) and I went to a couple of them in Spring Semester 1987. I was just out of the Army and had no idea there was a bar anywhere that was cheaper than the bars in Korea.
Still it was scummy and the floor was wet and filthy and it was 100 degrees in there and packed elbow to elbow and just a nasty, wonderful, stupid, brilliant, moist experience. One I barely remember.

Gamers. It was dime Old Milwaukee in the mid-90s. Good times!

I don't think the one Robby is referring to was Gamers. I may mistaken, but I can't remember the name earlier. The 'dimers' I remember was at a place next to the Cla-zel, I think it is a tatoo parlor and telemarketer now.

I think the name of the bar was rather simple...Main Street.

Yep, that's the one. I was never a Main Street patron. Howard's and, to a much lesser degree, Brauthaus were my haunts back in the day.
