As I said in another thread: Moms and Dads alll over NWO make better popcorn one weekend a year at their local HS concession stand. Really, if you have the proper measuring cups and product these fancy popcorn machines are not so complicated.Yesterday I picked burnt corn out of both our $3 mini tubs - my kids will remember and will likely pass on a visit to the concession stand Friday.
The prices just reflect the budgets of college athletics. Many HS event prices are climbing to a $1 a bag and more than a $1 for a drink. Until the Stroh becomes a 2 drink and 1 appetizer minimum for an event how can we complain about prices. We can still continue to hope this problem gets fixed soon so I feel good about spending a couple of extra bucks.
