I agree! And I think I heard that the Lake Twp Tornado was an F3 and the Dundee one was an F2. Might be why the damage down here was so much more extensive, unfortunately.
Channel 13 said it was an EF4 tornado. Based on the description listed on this classification chart of tornados and everything I've heard in the interviews and read in the articles, I would say it was a 4!! :(

This is a security camera capturing the tornado amidst the lightning and transformer flashes. This is the only known video of the tornado.

Wow... even in the dim light you can see how fast the rotation is. Frightening... My prayers are still with everybody affected.

Here's a view of the winds in Dundee from Cabela's security cam.

http://www.myfoxtampabay.com/dpps/news/ ... rm_7981410

it looks like the tornado came in higher by the hotel...had it actually touched down there or to the west, it would have been really bad as the hotel was maxed out with 500 guest on the property.

I wonder where the storms topped out at...the first line was moving at 55mph so the lake didn't really have much chance to chop them down...I'll bet they topping out at 50,000 feet or better....
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

I have only heard the headline... haven't delved into the reasoning... but that is unbelievable.
