Congratulations! My wife and I just celebrated our first anniversary this past Sunday on the 18th. The first year is the best and the hardest. You find out all of the things you didn't know, and you finally get to be together for LONG periods of time at once.

No, seriously, enjoy this moment. The fun is just beginning!

Well, yeah- for you. Wait until you hit 2 through 32. There'll be some doozies along the way. And you don't find out ALLLL the things you didn't know- for example you don't find out that you have child rearing theories that are polar opposites until you have kids.

Yeah... thats it.... let him know the good things ahead  Tell him the truth.... you're not scared of terrorists, you've been married for 32 years.

When you were dating.... you had an opinion and it mattered.
Then you got engaged.... you had an opinion.... but it didn't matter.
Now your married.... and you don't have an opinion.

Just wrapped up 24 years of marriage..... and 30 years since I meet her coming up Sept 22.

All joking aside.... congrats to LowryFalcon and the Goof. Marriage is a good thing.

I call BS, Tech. You are allowed to have an opinion when you're married-hers.

Ah, you've both learned well young...er, older padawans! :supz:
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Congratulations!

My marriage of 10 years has been awesome. My wife tells me so.

Two words which lead to happy marriage are "Yes" and "dear" used in tandem.

Yeah, I found that "get" and "beer" used the same way did NOT cut it.

Exhibit A for why I shouldn't check AZZ at work. I've now got coffee all over my laptop, joker!

Similar the reaction, I wager, as my use of "Make," [pronoun] and "Sammiches." I'm not sure if I addressed her as "woman" because the last thing I recall is her making a fist.

We will hit 35 years in November. I've learned to do what she suggests, because if I don't, and she is right, then I get an earfull of "I told you so" and also avoid the "if only I had listened".

Wives can help keep you healthly, at least mine has, and just recently. I avoided the "if only I had listened to her" scenario.
