I don't remember naming any political party or office holder, Tom. This is about "science"...or something like that.
Slippery slope, but then I've got a couple other boards to occupy my on-line time when this one closes down...
Really? Difference of opinion. I'll drop it now outta respect to G but stand by my post. Nothing wrong with it. Have fun over on rockettland board.

Yeah...f**k me...power goes out on Monday at 2 am and stays out until Wednesday at 6 pm only to go out again at 9 am today. Consumers Power claims they took us offline because they need to do further repairs to our grid but I don't believe them...not for one minute...
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

That sucks Flip. And with another major storm set to hit tonight/tomorrow, that's not gonna help.
Just talked with my parents in BG. They said they got 7 inches this morning and BGSU is closed until at least noon. Was supposed to reevaluate at 10am. My cousin in Lima got 10inches. I think that groundhog was wrong with his prediction!
Haven't been outside yet but from my window it looks pretty ridiculous out there.
I was supposed to sub at Fostoria HS this morning and got 5 texts at about 5:20AM from WTOL giving me the school closings. That was nice to be able to sleep until 9:30 instead of just 6:30.
BGSU did cancel classes for the rest of the day.
And I agree.... that groundhog gave us hope and Mother Nature destroyed it...

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second." ~~USCHO Poster "BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got." ~~USCHO Poster, AFTER Tech beat us #NeverGiveUp

It was pretty brutal earlier this morning, but I shoveled the driveway and made it to work a little after noon. If my driveway is any indication it was small change compared to the level 3 a few weeks ago. The roads coming in really weren't that bad at all. Should be pretty clean by the time we head home this evening.
What a bunch of wusses. I left home in BG around 7:15 and was at my desk working in Findlay by 8:10. Wasn't bad at all. And my kids better have the driveway and sidewalks shoveled by the time I get home.
